The Wedding of Hollie & Pete featured in Wedding Ideas magazine August ’16 issue
Wedding Ideas Magazine is one of the few magazines that still exclusively works in print – meaning the wedding photographs of Hollie and Pete’s wedding at Haselbury Mill, Somerset were featured in the beautiful glossy pages of the August Issue and I got to read it whilst sipping my morning coffee. I still relish in print photograph as so much is restricted to just being ‘online’. Is is such an honour to actually feel my work in print form and touch it! Geek Alert!
Here is what I wrote about Hollie and Pete’s day in my first blog post about their wedding:
“Haselbury Mill is a quaint collection of listed buildings, including the newly renovated Great Tithe Barn, where Hollie and Pete’s reception took place, set in the magnificent landscape of Somerset, surrounded by hectares of fields and hills in all directions. It was a beautiful, sunshine-filled July day and they were fortunate enough to be able to hold their ceremony outside under the gazebo.
I have been to relatively few weddings where a Bag Piper has played and goodness me does it send chills up and down your spine. It has an incredible atmosphere and presence and had a surprised Pete in tears in seconds! There ceremony was simple and heartfelt and we were treated to more gorgeous sunshine and the most incredible light all day afterwards. I could not stop photographing! They are both so natural together and it was a joy to see their personalities and love for each other come out on camera.”
