Rob & Jo get married at St. Pierre, Chepstow
As a preferred supplier at St. Pierre Hotel in Chepstow I am regularly shooting weddings there. Each time I attend is completely different, from the particular light on the day, the way the wind is blowing, the personalities of the people I am photographing and the places we wander. On the morning of Rob and Jo’s wedding I knew I was in for a treat as their little family are the most unassuming, funny people with the biggest hearts. Jo looked out of this world in her dress from Clifton Brides in Bristol, teamed with a flower garland and a stunning wildflower bouquet put together from her Aunty. Her deep green eyes were complemented with emerald eye shadow. When I saw her tearing up waiting to walk down the aisle I had to swallow back tears myself!
The service in St. Pierre Church was quaint and traditional, it is such a small intimate little church and perfect for smaller weddings. Her sister, played guitar during the register signing and the atmosphere was full of love. Afterwards everyone enjoyed drinks in the sun and we snuck away for a little walk in the sunshine. The speeches were hilarious and everyone was in such a great mood. After the reception I whisked them off in my car to a secret spot that overlooks the Severn estuary – it was just perfect and they had such fun running through a wheat field, creating their own dreams!
Afterwards it was back to party and the fun continued.
