Rosie and Peter

Close your eyes… cast your mind back and try to picture a world before Covid… struggling? Well here is a blog post, I drafted way back in 2019 and has been sitting here waiting for the perfect time to post it, that time is now!

A beautiful Autumn wedding set in the year 2019!

—————–

In the Spring I photographed Rosie and Peter for their Harmony Session a chance for them to get comfortable being photographed professionally. For their Autumnal wedding at St Tewdrics House, Chepstow, they were fully prepared for the joys of wet Welsh weather, though we did manage some time enjoying the beautiful grounds outside.

A calm morning was had by all as final preparations took place with Sarah and Tracy Pallari providing hair and make-up. The flowers by Laura May Flowers & Victoria Wren Flowers were simply exquisite and the cake made by Grandma Dorothy stole the show as she had practised her sugar flowers for over a year!

I was joined on the day by my good friend and videographer Martin from White Rose Wedding Films, we work together frequently and work seamlessly together!

The ceremony in the Courtyard room faced the beautiful view and guests were serenaded by the dulcet tones of the Cellist. There were some emotional and heartfelt readings before Rosie and Peter enjoyed an aisle of confetti outside. Clever Chefs provided delicious canapés and food throughout the day. The Groomsmen got the energy going in the room before the speeches, encouraging guests to wave their napkins around.

In the evening Tux Fizz wedding band provided first class entertainment and had everyone up dancing and singing all night long!

Here is their story:
