As a Caer Llan Monmouth Wedding Photographer I have the privilege of shooting at Caer Llan quite often. This gorgeous venue arguably has the best views in South Wales and the loveliest owners Jake and Vicky and so it is a treat for me.

This August wedding was probably the hottest day of the year! I joined Lindsay and Matt as they began preparations on the morning of the wedding. Lindsay is a huge Disney fan and there were little touches on the tables, even the confetti was shaped like Mickey! For Matt, it was all about the music and their friend played guitar throughout the ceremony.

As the midday heat began to soar, Caer Llan’s swimming pool became too inviting to resist and everyone headed down for a swim before the evening celebrations. It was also the perfect time to enjoy an ice-cream for South Wales best ice-cream lady – Poppys Vintage Ices. 

The sunset truly delivered, casting the best golden light over the Wye Valley. The Brotherhood band entertained them as they partied long into the night.
