Kelly + Kim

Ok, I have a secret. This was my first time shooting a same-sex wedding and as such it will remain one of my favourite weddings for years to come. Kelly and Kim are such a humble, unassuming couple who have been together for over a decade. They beautifully compliment each other and live together with their dog Honey. On the morning of the wedding, I joined them as they got ready together at their home in Chepstow. I even helped Kelly into her dress! Then it was on to Usk Registry office to exchange vows before close family and friends.

We snuck away in a VW Camper into the Forest of Dean, heading to the Sculpture Trail where the absolutely stunning sculpture ‘Cathedral” hangs. We were lucky that the sun chose those moments to light up the beautiful stained glass. Afterwards, there was food, celebration and lots of dancing at a hall in a nearby village.

Kelly and Kim have become friends and I look forward to watching their lives unfold together.
