Fairyhill Gower Wedding Photographer.

This was the first outdoor ceremony ever to take place at Fairyhill, in the Gower. Fairyhill is the newest addition to the luxury Oldwalls collection of beautiful wedding locations in South Wales and it truly lives up to its name. The house itself is beautifully renovated, with a blend of old and new and the ground are like a secret garden, with meandering paths and a secret lake.

Hazel and James are a truly unique couple and it was quite right that their ceremony reflected that. Married by three of their friends who acted as ‘celebrants’. They exchanged vows they’d written themselves and each performed a forfeit as part of the ceremony; feeding each other food they didn’t like. It was both emotional and hilarious!

There were wonderful additions to the celebrations including bubbles, confetti cannons and amazing candy floss canapés. The speeches were also outside under the large tree and it was amazing to see everyone so relaxed standing around. It was a true honour to meet Meghan Tibbits who was flown over from LA to play Harp and sing – her voice carried over the gardens and really added to the atmosphere.

We snuck off to Llangenedd beach for some photographs and they brought along their snorkels for a quirky shot as a nod to their love of travel and adventure.
