Elopement Wedding South Wales Uk
Liz and Paul
Liz and Paul contacted me almost a year in advance about their Elopement Wedding South Wales Uk. It was important to them to visit some of the beautiful locations I am lucky to live nearby and I helped them to plan out a perfect day.
Beginning at St Pierre Hotel and Country Club in the morning in a lakeside suite, they had a relaxed morning getting ready. They cut a cake (myself and the hair and make-up girl also enjoyed a slice!). We spent some time at St Pierre walking around the grounds and it was here they had picked a spot under a tree to read their vows to each other.
After the emotional and sweet ceremony, we headed on a road trip (with the help of a very friendly driver Andy) to lots of stunning and very different locations.
First we headed to Tintern Abbey, a simply staggering monument on the banks of the River Wye. After that we headed to the Forest of Dean to the famous sculpture trail, lingering at the sculpture entitled ‘Cathedral’ a hanging stained glass window in the middle of the forest.
We stopped in Chepstow fo a cup of tea and Welsh cakes (of course!) at the LimeTree in Chepstow, followed by a walk on the old Wye Bridge and to Chepstow Castle.
As sunset drew in a walk along the Wye Valley with views stretching over to England it was the perfect way to end the day. They had this to say after they received their photographs –
Clare was absolutely spectacular! Paul and I feel so lucky to have such an amazing photographer and wonderful person capture our wedding. Clare was a pleasure to work with. We are not from the area so Clare went above and beyond to help us find photo locations that fit the vision we had for our elopement. She put us both completely at ease. She got to know us and tailored the photos and locations to really reflect who we are as a couple. The photos turned out even better than we could have imagined in our wildest dreams. Clare is so incredibly talented. She has a way to make everyone feel at ease in front of the camera where you almost forget that she is there.
Here is their story.
