Caer Llan is such a stunning and intimate place to have a wedding. These photographs tell the story of the wedding of Siobhan and Fraser on a beautiful sunshine-filled September day in 2015. It is nestled on a hill in a Welsh valley with far-reaching views that make you stop and stare. Caer Llan itself is a beautiful historic building, lovingly renovated by Jake and Vicky, the owners, whose attention to detail is incredible – plus Jake is a dab-hand on the grand piano and has been known to join in a late-night party shin dig!
It was a real pleasure to photograph Fraser and Siobhan’s day, not least because Fraser and I go way back! I still remember our days in nursery together and going through the awkward year at our local school. Needless to say we’ve both blossomed since then and he has found the most perfect match in Siobhan, who can rarely be seen without her infamous grin which has me smiling behind my lens all day! They both have such an amazing sense of humour that it was no surprise that their day was full of the most genuine emotion across a spectrum of joy, hilarity and intense love.
