Sandi and Dan got married at St Stephens Church in Bristol followed by their reception at the stunning Kingscote Barn in Tetbury.
The morning of the wedding was wet and wild, thought this did not dampen spirits. Sandi was surrounded by her family and friends as they helped each other get ready for the day. Dan had sent Sandi a pre-wedding gift of a football shirt emblazoned with ‘Bowser’ her surname-to-be which brought lots of smiles all round. Kingscote Barn in Tetbury provides such a light, airy and stylish backdrop for any wedding and it really set off the simple and organic decorations that Sandi & Dan had put together. The bunting was hand-made by a family member and the unique lavender table plan was made completely by Sandi & Dan, even down to growing their own lavender. Their cake, complete with a ‘Bowser’ topper was lovingly made by a good friend and the colours tied the whole look together.
Dan is a mechanic by trade and had a vision for one of his photographs that he saw on an old postcard. I was more than happy to recreate it for his wedding day. The rest of the day turned out to be hot and humid and guests mingled in and out of the barn amid the stunning surroundings. As the evening drew to a close, we heading out for some final sunset photographs which was a lovely chance to catch their breath together and take in the day.
