Natalie & Stuart get married at Caer Llan, Monmouth

Natalie and Stuart got married at St Marys Church, Caldicot with their reception at Caer Llan, Lydart, Monmouth.

Their wedding had a kind of vintage theme with touches of pink and green which was perfect with Caer Llan as a backdrop. Caer Llan is in the most stunning location on the way to Monmouth. It is a hidden gem, nestled into a hill with views over the Wye Valley. The building itself has a long history, and has a fantastic stone exterior (great for photos) and a sprawling garden with lots of secret spots where guests or the bride and groom can catch their breath for a minute. There is a very quaint vinstage swimming pool complete with ivy covered changing shelter and a gazebo. We also found little hidden shelters under the eating area and plenty of large trees we could walk under for shelter. Overall, we had a thoroughly enjoyable session – proof that rain never spolit a day for two people in love ever!
