Victoria and Cai | The Manor Hotel | Crickhowell

Victoria and Cai’s Crickhowell Wedding began with preparations at the parents house and their own house in newport. With their two beautiful daughters, Sienna and Lydia, they are the perfect blended family. I first met them for a cake-smash shoot for little Lydia a couple of years ago, although I knew Cai from school days.

Their ceremony was held at St Mary’s church in Newport followed by a reception at The Manor Hotel in Crickhowell. The morning was emotional, although Victoria was calm and poised. I spent time with her and her family as they made their preparations before joining Cai his Groomsmen before they headed to the church. Victoria became very nervous as she arrived at the church and her emotions were visible. It was a sweet service and made all the more memorable with little Lydia stealing the show.

Afterwards, guests headed to The Manor Hotel in Crickhowell for drinks. The Manor Hotel is nestled into the hill overlooking the quaint Crickhowell town with its small stone bridge and river. The Brecon Beacons can be seen in the distance, the views are truly spectacular. The sun was pouring over the valley and the opportunities for photographs were endless. Guests carried on the fun during the reception meal and tears were shed over the speeches as well as raising some good belly-laughs too!

As the sun was setting over Crickhowell we snuck away for a little walk along the river for photographs before rejoining the guests for the evenings entertainment. A shout out to Lucas Alexander who gave a fantastic set to kick the evening off. The day was truly magical! Here is their story:

  • Dress: All about Eve
  • Favours- Penderyn Distillery and Quinell candle company
  • Cake- Emma Jayne cake design.
  • Music – Lucas Alexander music.
