I have a background in contemporary art and graduated with a pretty geeky First Class Honours in Fine Art, specialising in film and trained by documentary film-maker Simon Aeppli.
I have sashayed with the arty-folk in Cardiff, London and France and my work has been seen in both galleries and film festivals.
Once in the ‘real-world’ I moved to London and worked for an agency producing corporate in-house videos for clients such as John Lewis, New Look and BP (to name a few) and still do the odd bit now and again. Here I produced training videos, voxpops and the occasional bit of flying in front of green-screens!
I fell in love with making wedding videos after making one for a friend and before I knew it LoveSeen was born. Not long after, my daughter Cadence was born too. I am based in my home studio in Chepstow where I live with Cadence, my husband David and our cats.
My experience in both art and corporate film lends itself beautifully to weddings. Not just a ‘techy’, I have also been praised for producing honest, emotive moving-image that really tells a story.
I’ll let my work speak for itself though, I also made this website and all the images are stills from client weddings (not boring stock images). See my portfolio for further examples.
Your LoveSeen is an artistic commission; an imaginative bespoke piece of videography unlike any other. I am interactive, friendly and intuitive. I know when to take the lead and when to take a step back.
The editing is a unique creative process which takes time and thought. From black & white or colour-grading to modern cuts and evocative time sequences; in your consultation we will discuss what is right for you.
Incorporating your theme from taste and colours to logo's and music, I remember all the little things that you will have put in to the day to make it special and bring it to life on camera.
